First Half
After a long period, Real Madrid fans were excited to finally watch a home match again. Both the players and supporters were determined to win after several disappointing away performances.
Being second in La Liga put a lot of pressure on both the squad and coach Xabi Alonso.
From the first whistle, Xabi Alonso’s team focused on keeping possession and building attacks carefully. Although Real Madrid completed several good passes throughout the pitch, their connection and chemistry did not look as strong as Celta Vigo’s.

After that set piece, it became clear that Celta wanted to dominate the match, but Real Madrid’s defence stayed alert and disciplined. Asencio’s fall almost cost Madrid dearly.
After a few attacking attempts, Arda Güler nearly scored for Real Madrid. Although the ball did not find the net, he won a corner for his team, and that set piece almost turned into a goal.

Svedberg, who had just entered the match at halftime, scored a strange but impressive goal.

Radu repeatedly took his time whenever he restarted play, which frustrated the Real Madrid fans.
After scoring, Celta Vigo became much more confident, while Real Madrid looked increasingly nervous.
